I just came back from an incredibly (*exaggerate*) fun sleepover at Ilyana’s house. I mean like, d-uh, I always come back like a happy bird after spending a whole day with that woman. This entry is going to be filled with happiness and photos of food (taken with Ilyana’s camera) sprinkled with love and joy. If you happen to not like happy post, fuck off then!hahaha!11 Nah kidding, I am not as rude as that. One of my resolution before turning 21 is to use less vulgar (only use in times of major pissness but not directly to the person because that is just so totally uncalled for). Be angry but classy everybody! However, I am allowed to use omgslut or omgbitch at Ilyana because she’s cool like that hahaha.

Anyways, Love Peace and Joy heartshape heartshape dear god, I am so corny. Oh yes, before I embark on what is going to be a really long entry with many many pictures, I would like to welcome my sister back from Cambodia where she did some voluntary work there and bought me some sweets. Awww. I did not even ask for anything and she remembers her blood-related sister back in Singapore. Yes, I know you read my blog and yes I can hear Korean songs blasting from your room.

Okey dokey, back on the sleepover! Of course life would not be complete with crazy photobooth! We bought Japanese chocolates and snacks, be crazy bitches (*this* close to being lesbian with my own cousin wtf her fault ok. Don’t worry Ashraf, I love you very much!), watched chick flicks (BRING IT ON, Wild Child), made Panna Cotta and I even had a (very reluctant) makeover.

These vanilla mushroom biscuits are inappropriate for kids under age of 12

Everytime I stayed over at her house, we made it a point to make something new. A few years ago, it was some caramel dessert which turns out amazing and this time round, we made Panna Cotta. I kept calling it Panna Connata because it sounds cuter. Ilyana thinks it’s pretty retarded though. Oh wells.

Panna Cotta, ladies and gentlemen is so damn awesome and sooooooo very simple to make. You can blindfold yourself and make it I swear and it will still taste like ice cream, really awesome ice cream.

Here is how you make yourself some Panna Cotta:

Basic Ingredients
(GET HALAL GELATINE IF YOU ARE A HALAL PERSON)

Watching gelatine mixed in with water is cool

Heat up cream with sugar, vanilla essence and gelatine


You should smell it at this stage and go “mmm so this is life..”

Pour into pretty bowls and set it in the fridge for 4 hours or more.

Meanwhile, Ilyana managed to force convince me to do a makeover using one of my birthday gifts from her. Before I begin saying on how reluctant I was on doing this makeover, I must show you Gilt by Association by M.A.C. The name itself captures my heart and soul and the colors gets major major love from me. Black and gold eyeshadow. How not to *love* such a creation?

I was very reluctant to do the makeover not because I don’t trust her and she is after all very awesome with make up (HAVE YOU SEEN HER MAKE UP STASH IT’S CRAZY). I did not want to do it because she wanted to blog about it and I am a very shy unworthy person. heh.

If I remember correctly, she used M.A.C for everything except for the Clinique eyeliner, Shu Uemura eye base, lipstick and my Dr Jart’s BB cream (EVERYBODY GET A TUBE NOW. The day the world cease producing BB creams is the day I automatically perish from planet earth).

ok, that’s enough of my face for the day

We decided to try our Panna Cotta (which was getting cold very nicely in the fridge) at night while watching Wild Child. It was such a success, I could cry while I eat the happy bowl of love.

Believe me when I say it was soooo sooo good and creamy

This sleepover was by far one of the best ever ever. I was tortured to near death because the longest I was allowed on the internet was 3 minutes and was chased around the freaking house, pinned down on the ‘polar bear’ rug and Ilyana sat on top of me, FORCING me to eat panna cotta at 10 bloody AM in the morning. WICKKKKKKKKKED!

Oh yes, I also recommend everyone to watch Shakira’s She Wolf video. I HATE THAT SONG because it does not make sense and the video is all so ~sexed up~ wtf what happened to quality videos?!?! Ilyana and I watched it for the first time today on MTV and we were squirming on the floor trying to imitate Shakira hahahaha and Ilyana (who’s butt was hurting because she fell down the stairs a few days ago) lied down on her ass and was in great hilarious pain. Damn, that was crazy! I love you babe!

I will end this post with a bright happy note! I want to wish Nickhun from 2pm Ikana Tan Jia Yi from Jurong happy 21st birthday! Remain crazy and fab always and I will always be on msn, talking about Korean bands.

PS: A few weeks ago, Ilyana and I had a conversation about Mentaiko and how I will never ever eat it and she can never ever trick me into eating it. The sauce on the prawns that I ate last week in Fish Manhattan has mentaiko in it. This is a moment of great history and it taste quite nice actually!

Okey dokey, I spent 5 hours typing this entry out and I have not started packing my bag yet. Tomorrow tomorrow!
