Yesterday was a crazy day. I know I am pretty psycho sometimes but someone else is crazier than me and her name is Aisu. We initially wanted to ‘surprise’ Ikana for his birthday by visiting him at his house but since he had Japanese classes last night, we visited him there instead.

However, his Japanese classes are in Orchard and Aisu’s idea of a surprise is pretty insane (and shameless). There we were, 2 thoroughly crazy girls with 10 yellow floating helium-filled balloons (initially I wanted 21. Thank God we did not get 21 balloons!), walking in Orchard while Aisu was blowing these whistles from party packs while I sang happy birthday. That did not stop there of course.

Aisu had walked from Bukit Batok/Panjang/some Bukit place with 10 balloons all the way to Orchard in the MRT during peak period. I seriously do not know how she managed to do that. We were stopped by security guards asking if we’re selling balloons, kids wanted one and people were looking at us funny. This bunch of girls who were talking in malay were even saying that I am carrying so many balloons and were probably talking about how dumb I look like. YOU THINK I DON’T UNDERSTAND MALAY IS IT? At least I am not standing one corner doing completely useless stuffs like smoking.

But it’s ok. Aisu said it’s for Ikana’s birthday and we must lose face. If we want to lose face, might as well lose it all.

We eventually made it to Ikana’s Japanese class and we waited outside, making loads of noise with party hats and mask (to disguise and protect our shameless identity). Damn fail moment would be having wax dripping all over the cake and having horde of people staring at the 2 of us while we painstakingly waited for Ikana to come out of his class.

Crazy Woman

The moment Aisu saw Ikana, she started singing Happy Birthday and I was there holding balloons, feeling completely embarrassed and Ikana look like he does not want to acknowledge our presence.

Hi, we’re all 5 year olds.

We went to have dinner with Ikana’s mum afterwards. (HI IKANA’S MUM! YOU’RE PRETTY UBER!) I don’t think I will ever step into that Delfi mall ever ever again. Ikana, you better appreciate what Aisu and I did for you. :D

PS: And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KWEK XU PING who is also turning 21 today~ Meet up soon! I still have your last year birthday present with me.

PSS: I’m celebrating my birthday in Malaysia and I would not be in Singapore till next Monday. Yes I will be sharing a room with Aisu and washing underwears with shampoo in the toilet.

Have a great weekend in advance everyone! <3

Total embarrassment…but that’s expected of crazy egyptian princesses. Thank you for the weird/awesome birthday, not to mention making me feel awkward for the next japanese lesson.
