I’ve been missing-in-action for a week now and as much as I am guilty about not blogging often enough, I came here feeling really uninspired. I would stare at the blank screen for a few minutes then judge myself against my unworthiness with blogging. I would go home, be a nerd and read my environmental book or be a geek instead and play….. World of Warcraft.

Yes, there is a difference between a nerd and a geek and I am definitely a nerd more than a geek while Ashraf is the total opposite of me (he said this is why we’re meant to be together while I roll my eyes and continue talking about how awesome Legolas is). He likes Sci-fi and I love fantasy but I bet you cool people out there totally do not care about this vital information. I shall proceed and attempt to be cool from now on till the end of this entry.

First off, dinner at 18chefs with Ilyana. You get to choose between baked rice/pasta, 8 different sauces, toppings and add-ons (woot WoW!) with different combos. A pretty cool and nice place to eat but oh-so-far from my house.

Dinner with Ilyana and Qaiyimah at HarbourFront. We wanted to visit the new Victoria Secret at the newly open Integrated Resort (IR) but the mofo shop closes at 7pm. WHICH RETAIL SHOP CLOSES AT 7PM IN SINGAPORE?!

Ramen Ten! The one in HarbourFront has really bad service and food though.

Every time I try and take a picture, some tudung girl will appear in my photos. Damn annoyed with her.

So much fail, posing outside a closed shop. Qai set the timer for a camera and I tried to run for the picture-taking but slipped and fell in front of 3 guys who laughed at me. FML.

I WANT TO FEEL CUTE IN THOSE UNDIES TOO DAMMIT.

To be honest, I was very disappointed with the IR. Sure it was huge and everyone in Singapore is pretty excited about Universal Studios but there is no consistency in the overall structure/design of the place. It is tacky with very random things situated at random places. I HATE the signboards and the disgusting fonts they used. The retail section consist of high branded goods that only goddesses of the Land of Lady Wealth can afford. If you try and take photos outside the shops, security guards will give you a warning. I AM CLEARLY SHOCKED BY THIS. You expect tourists from Japan/Korea/all over the world to spend their money on this little “retail heaven” and NOT take photos?! No saranghaeyo for you sir. The uniforms look like they came out straight from the movie, Night of the Museum and I have expected much more than this. It was as they had too much money and tried putting too much in one place with no clear direction.

Silk Whitia masks I bought from Sasa. I’ve been using these masks for nearly a year and once I started using them, I never look back. They are *that* awesome!
