Ashraf and I took a day off on Thursday to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. I can’t believe more than 365 days had passed. All those days where I felt like stabbing him with a blunt pencil…. gone. I kid I kid. I mean, it’s still not gone rofl.

We had lunch, ate take-away cakes in front of HellBoy, went ice skating, played Battlefield 2, watched Bounty Hunter, got free watermelon juice from Aisu. Yeap definitely not jumping on top of rooftops playing superheros.

If you ever received gifts from me, you would have noticed that “Hey, that is the same damn wrapper you used to wrap my presents!” Yes, I got them when I was working for Miss Selfridge. I really hated my foreign supervisor back then. One day she decided that the thousands of completely fine wrapping paper should be thrown away while she stood there playing with her nails and ordering people around. I took some and put it in my bag. Till this day I mourned for the rest of the wrapping paper I didn’t get to save. God, I hate retail. RIP paper.

Anyways, back on topic. Ashraf had liked me way before we got together. He kept pictures of me in his ipod, stalk me in Kinokuniya so that he could see me, his wallpaper is one of my pictures from my blog, check my locations IN GAME omfg etc etc. ALL THESE WHILE I WAS COMPLETELY CLUELESS.

On the 22nd of April last year, he sent me an sms after we watched a movie.

Too much I might ask, but I have to today, hope you won’t be frightened by what I have to say. Too short it might have been, but I assure you we’ll be worthwhile, coz all I wanna do is to make you smile. I promise to keep you happy, I’ll make us worth your time, I just have to ask – Naidatul Nadzirah, could I be yours? And would you be mine?

He was right beside me, smiling like an ass and I wanted to drown myself into the concrete floor. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED BARELY 5 MINUTES AFTER? Two surveyors approached us for a survey and the girl asked, “Would your boyfriend like to do the survey as well?” I wanted to murder her.

Needless to say, I kept quiet throughout the journey back home. He walked me to the lift, I gave him a hug and said Yes. AND I RAN BACK HOME BECAUSE I WAS SO EMBARRASSED.

I said yes because …. I like him too. I kept silent for a really long time because it was a delicate and complicated matter, one that involves someone I love with all my heart and soul. The first couple of months on the relationship was really hard but as cliche as this sounds, it was all worth it. During that period, I just started my job and it was really stressful. Some people were not happy with us being together but sometimes, you have to shut the world and focus on that one thing that makes you happy. Do not give a shit about negative things people say about you because at the end of the day, it doesn’t fucking matter.

The first time we went out together as a couple, I was too damn nervous. My heart was pounding outside my soul and I kept talking non-stop to keep myself breathing. The moment he hold my hand, I shut the fuck up and look away. Oh dear god, it took a lot of willpower to not break free and run away. I AM THAT TERRIBLY SHY WTF. While we were watching a movie, he kept staring at my face, holding it and just… look at me.

He would drive to my house and delivery boxes of tronky, McDonald’s  and sometimes, I would get a call from him and he would be waiting outside my house door to give me a hug. “You said you miss me. So here I am.” My usual reply would be, “I hate you.” *hugs*

This next part of the entry will be about hair. I am obsessed with my hair. I went to Kimage yesterday to get a hair cut and a hair treatment. When I say hair cut, I mean like an inch off because I am too much of a wuss to cut beyond my comfortable length.

It look like highlights at the top but in reality, it’s really damaged hair and days spent too much under the sun. T_T
